Upcoming TrueWind Concerts
We do not sell "tickets" for our house
concert series because we are not a
public venue. We do require reservations, at which time you will receive an
auto-reply email providing you with our address and further details about the
evening. We suggest a sliding scale donation of between $15 and $25. ALL donations go to the performing musicians. We are happy to host the
evening's refreshments for our guests at our expense. Concerts are alcohol free,
and typically not appropriate for children as our goal is to provide a
respectful listening environment.

Bev Barnett &
Greg Newlon, John Batdorf and Megan Slankard
Every third Friday of the month, Bev
Barnett & Greg Newlon are joined by two guest acts for a terrific night
of music where you never know what's going to happen. In the first half
of the show, Bev & Greg do a few songs then each of the guests do a
short solo set. After a break, all reconvene on stage for a
Nashville-style guitar pull, sharing songs and stories "in the round"
style. The evening progresses at the whim of the moment and you may hear
a bummer round, a cover round, an off color round, a romantic round...
or all of the above. |

Richard Berman
This man has the gift." So said the late Utah Phillips, legendary figure
in American folk music, after hearing Richard Berman sing. And Richard
has used that gift to write many songs that tell moving, true stories.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Richard left the city to go to college in
Ann Arbor, Michigan. He has lived most of his adult life in Amherst,
Massachusetts with his wife and two children. Richard received an MSW
and worked as a therapist for years with children and families. He has
also taught as a classroom teacher in the Amherst public schools.
Drawing on his experiences as a husband, therapist, teacher, father and
son, he has written songs that impart his understandings of people and
their situations in direct and compelling ways
